I have been teaching for over 30 years and have orchestral experience and fiddle experience as well. I teach from my studio in my home and am interested in finding out the responsibilities of this job. I currently perform with Silver Strings, have attended Blue Lake's Chamber Music For Fun and perform weddings and events throughout the year.

I have been teaching strings for ten years and am currently director of music at an international school in Kenya. I participate in the Kenyan Conservetoire of Music and was formerly involved in orchestral and ensemble playing in the States. I grew up on the Suzuki method and spent many summers at Blue Lake Fine Arts camp playing violin. I attended university for a Bachelor's in Music Performance on the violin.

Where do you obtain your music? Do you have any difficulty finding music in Kenya. I am a music dealer. Let me know if you need anything.

Yes it is difficult to find music in Kenya! I usually have friends order music from Shar in Ann Arbor and then they mail it to me. I know people who order from companies in the UK. The Kenyan Conservetoire has some music but because this is a third world country they are limited in what they can obtain as well. What company do you work with? Is it something I can look at online?

What does it need to be a conductor. Does he have to master or have capability to play all instruments?

I will be setting up an online store in the next month or so. I will have over 160,000 books which you can choose from.
I actuallylive 45 minutes from Shar music and in fact, I can get anything you see in Shar catalogues because I purchase from their distributor.
Please let me know what you need. Do you teach also?
I am glad I asked you if it is hard finding music. By the way, I can drop ship, but let me see how far I can do so. Ok?
Do you think you may want to order online?
If so, please go to www.sylviasmusicstudio.com and leave me your email. I will let you know when it is ready. Or if you know what you need you can tell me now and I will take care of it for you Thanks! Sylvia

Hi!
My name is Ruth Brons.
I earned my Master's Degree in Viola Performance nearly 30 years ago, and have been teaching and playing ever since! Currently I am the Coordinator for the Suzuki Violin Program at both Montclair State University and the Montclair Cooperative School in New Jersey, seeing nearly 100 students each week though private and/or group lessons. Having relocated a few too many times in the last decade, I am very experienced at program building. My passion for teaching recently led to my development patent-pending bow accessories designed to move beginning players to an accomplished bow hold in an instant, now available at www.things4strings.com.

Hi Karis,
Sorry for the long wait for a response. I would be happy to get an account set up for you. Would you like that? I suggest you go to my website www.sylviasmusicstudio.com and let me know what you need. I will check on the price of drop shipping as well which may vary depending on the company. Thanks for your interest.
I own my own company. I am small but am interested in helping dedicated musicians find the supplies they need with no hassle and give a decent discount. Ask about quantity discounts
If you see anything on Shar's website I can get it for you. Let me know.
